Tildas Group A/S acquires Intoy A/S and strengthens existing product portfolio with Studio Pets, Gemex etc.
The owner of Intoy A/S – Ole Iversen – has on 1. May 2020 sold the toy company Intoy A/S – www.intoy.dk – to Tildas Group A/S and Ole Iversen will join the Board of Directors and shareholders in Tildas Group A/S.
“It has for a long time been a desire at Intoy A/S to strengthen the sales channels in Sweden and Norway with our brands and especially “Studio Pets” and “Gemex” – which has just been named “Toy of the Year” in Sweden in the category ”Arts and craft”. The opportunity was between building a sales organization in these countries or finding a partner. So when Tildas Group A/S approached us, the decision was easy to make, as Intoy’s strong brands and Tilda’s strong sales organization, looks like a perfect match. Key Accounts manager Jan Kvist Knudsen and purchasing coordinator Helle Johansson continue unchanged at Tildas Group A/S, but unfortunately we have to say goodbye to 3 other employees due to overlap I Tildas organization, says Ole Iversen, CEO of Intoy A/S”.
